Weddings
I love having an outdoor wedding to photograph as it feels so natural and always makes for a happy bride, well if Mother Nature cooperates.
An outdoor wedding on the beach, next to a waterfall, peaceful wooded setting or one of many other outdoor venues can create a lifetime of memories, when captured by a photographer that loves the challenges of an outdoor event.
The weather can hold off and you can enjoy crystal clear skies for the entire day or the wind and rain can ruin everything if you try to bypass having a building or tent available, especially in areas like central New York where the weather can change in an instant. Proper planning like did is the key although they had a picture perfect day they were prepared.
When it all works out and I can not stress it enough with the proper planning it really will be a great day.
This particular wedding I enjoyed very much as it was the rebirth of my wedding photography career which I had given up pursuing almost thirty years ago when my first born arrived.
I reluctantly agreed to take the photographs as I knew that I was rusty at best as I had become more of a landscape photographer but I could not say no to my children's best friend that had become a daughter to me.
Thank You Amanda and Ben for giving me the confidence to once again take the bull by the horns.

This year started with my first wedding of the year at 7:00 am on New Years Day.
The morning started off cold, snowy, windy and dark but I left the house with a smile on my face and excitement in my veins.
I knew that this was a very special day for a very special couple, this was going to be fun.

Senior Portraits
Being fortunate enough to have the unique opportunity to photograph a graduating Syracuse University student in the world famous Carrier Dome has forever changed my life for the better.
Not only was this student beautifuly photogenic and easy to work with during a one hour photo session, she was well prepared with all of her clothing changes and props that she wanted included in her photos.
I could not thank her enough for her patience and gratitude and I cannot put it all into a few words how she was the catalysis that propelled my photography career forward.
I am a little biased of course because this wounderful student is also my daughter Ashley.
